Just as it’s important and easy to veganize traditional nonvegan meals, it’s just as easy to veganize the March for Animals (Albany to North Rose, New York, Sept 12 – 26).

Tune in to Vegan Nation, Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 4 PM EDT, worldwide at: wcuw.org/listen, and on your radio dial 91.3 FM WCUW in Massachusetts, USA.

VEGAN NATION is a 1/2-hour radio show featuring vegan music, news, events and interviews. On-Air since Jan 2015, founded & hosted by Marlene Narrow, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.
7/14/26 Vegan Nation announced, over the radio airwaves and beyond, the March for Animals.
Thank you for caring enough to hear and be heard.
Why veganize? Below are a few examples.
When visiting vegan sanctuaries, the consumption of animals’ flesh, female reproductive secretions (dairy/eggs) and digestive secretions (honey) is not allowed (and clearly stated). Likewise, it would seem appropriate that consuming victims’ flesh & secretions would not be allowed (and clearly, consistently stated) at rallies and marches to ‘stop the violence and end animal abuse’.
It is a contradictory and confusing message to Vegans and the masses when a caterer is described as a “vegan caterer”, yet the business allegedly sells and serves the flesh of fishes, shrimp, sharks and chickens at other places.
Time and time again, animal advocacy events are organized by noble, well-meaning, ethical vegans, yet, continually (decade after decade) the imperative, very important message of authentic Veganism (animal liberation / justice / nonviolence) is intentionally omitted from the general public view (websites, signage, press releases, speeches, mainstream interviews, etc.)
Without reaching a tipping point of Veganism, the atrocities and injustice happening to our animal kin will only continue, in one form or another, at carniste universities, restaurants, businesses, hospitals, homes and institutions. Human/animal liberation, justice and freedom is (obviously) impossible without the consistent, unashamed advocacy and practice of Veganism.
Highly recommended viewing of this 20 minute video by Andy Schulgasser (Sept 15, 2026)
DISCUSSION: Urgency & relevance of going & staying vegan (noncompliance w/animal abuse), marching ‘to end animal abuse’, authentic Veganism (human/animal liberation), deep veganism (As we collectively sow, humanity eventually reaps), vegan food for humans, Beagles, ferrets, cats, calves, sheep, ponies & goats, carniste experiments and institutions, the importance of health/medical freedom for humans and other animals, vegan restaurants, and vegan music.
Dr. Susan Craig, owner & operator of Happy Chihuahua Acres (veganic farm & animal sanctuary) joins us to share details of the 100% vegan diet for her 14 dogs, 4 cats, sheep, goats, miniature horses and ponies. She raises awareness of nonvegan ingredients in pelleted animal feed; and we also discuss carniste ingredients in ‘milk replacer formula’ for bovine “dairy” calves.
