Abolition Amendment – U.S. Constitution. Vegan – December 5, 2023

LISTEN to the replay at the link (28 minute 58 seconds audio) above. Thank you. Vegan Nation features the Abolition Amendment (proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution). Interview with Shelley Harrison, law professor, inventor, and primary author/editor of the Abolition Amendment.

Upon ratification, the Abolition Amendment will abolish the property status of all animals within the jurisdiction of the United States of America, thereby putting an immediate end to the meat, dairy, egg, fur, leather, wool, vivisection, and other exploitation- and killing-based industries. The movement in support of the Abolition Amendment is non-partisan.  Anyone can support ratification of the Aboliton Amendment, regardless of personal background, party affiliation, or political viewpoint.

Tune in Tuesday. December 5, 2023. 4 pm EST. WCUW 91.3 FM wcuw.org/listen Hosted by Marlene Narrow, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. Archives: vegansradio.com Thank you for caring enough to hear & be heard, for your support of nonprofit Community radio, and for your compassionate Vegan activism. PHOTOS & more PHOTOS . Vegan Nation is in The LOBE. Music: “Deersong” by Will Tuttle.

The Abolition Amendment was published on December 6, 2016. One can hear Shelley Harrison’s Vegan Nation interview (Part 1 – Dec 6, 2016; Part 2 – Dec 13, 2016), wherein he explains, in detail, all 5 sections of the Abolition Amendment: Listen here (Part 1), and listen here (Part 2). (The Humane Herald also provides information about the Abolition Amendment.) “Today is the 7th anniversary of the publication of the Abolition Amendment. Honored to be interviewed by Marlene Narrow on WCUW. I said “person” when I meant to say “human”, on one occasion, and had to restart my sentences several times to get the wording right. When you’re trying to talk fast in order to cover a lot of ground, it can be difficult to say things exactly how you’d like them to be said, and the terminology is important with something like this. Grateful for the opportunity to circulate the message though. Anyway, happy Abolition Day, everyone. May we live to see the end of #slavery in all its forms.” – Shelley Harrison December 6, 2023
