Joanne Kong is also a music professor at the University of Richmond (Virginia).  April 22, Earth Day, is also the 8th Anniversary of the Humane Party, a U.S. vegan political party. (April 9th is Civil Rights Day, initiated by the Humane Party in 2016, the 150th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.)
