Rain Truth is a vegan chef, caterer, educator and proud mother of three vegan children. She has been a vegan for over two decades, but introduced to vegetarianism as a child.. With formal training at The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago for Culinary Arts as well as New York’s Main Street Vegan Academy, where she received her certification as a Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator, Chef Rain is also a nationally certified ServSafe® Allergens Specialist. The Journey is “a shared knowledge of the Awakening, There are many paths to knowledge and in this time of awakening we must realize that we are one. All paths leading to understanding of I AM in WE, Universal Love! Join your hosts Sunta Africa & Sister Lee for a two hour voyage encompassing a wide variety of conscious music from diverse genres. The conversations will focus on Women’s Life Journeys through the Mind, Body, Spirit Connection.”
Sunta regularly hosts vegan potlucks for the central Mass community, where she also shares her healthy, delicious recipes. Sunta also periodically creates & distributes The Journey newsletters, which includes Vegan tips & news, to various sites in central Mass.
Sunta Africa was born and raised in Worcester, MA. Growing up, her home was always filled with multiple genres of music instilling her love of singing from a very early age. A soul singer-songwriter on a mission, Sunta uses her music as a tool to inspire & empower women to love themselves & live from their spirit. Throughout the many incantations of her songs, the message has always been positive. Sunta recorded her first solo album, “Soul Clearing”, which led to the formation of the well-received, Worcester-based band, Soul Movement, recording two albums with the band before their disbandment. She has performed for numerous community events and currently has a new album,“Sands in the Hourglass”, a 5 year labor of life experiences to share. Sunta’s musical wish is to help awaken the powerful feminine energy in women who have forgotten that they are Goddesses with work to do. suntaafrica.com
