Just as it’s important and easy to veganize traditional nonvegan meals, it’s just as easy to veganize the March for Animals (Albany to North Rose, New York, Sept 12 – 26, 2026).

VEGAN NATION is a 1/2-hour radio show featuring vegan music, news, events and interviews. On-Air since Jan 2015, founded & hosted by Marlene Narrow, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.

Special Shout-Out Big-Up to THE BODYBUILDING VEGAN John Thomas who, during the March for Animals, courageously, publicly and consistently (especially in his two speeches…without hesitation and without being intimidated) spoke out with a clear call for Veganism-activism.

Vegan Nation promotes the wholistic, public advocacy of deep veganism. An acute sense of alarm is absolutely justified and any degree of uncomfortableness within and without the Vegan community is profound in advancing humanity and life on Earth in its evolutionary progress.

Why veganize?

Injustice and violence anywhere inevitably results in violence and injustice everywhere…it’s all interconnected – metaphysically & culturally. Be Love, Be Fair, Be Peace, Be Vegan.

At vegan sanctuaries, it’s well-known that consumption of animals’ flesh, digestive secretions (honey) and female reproductive secretions (dairy/eggs) is clearly prohibited. Likewise, one would anticipate a similar ethical response ~ the consumption of victims’ flesh & secretions would be explicitly prohibited at a 207-mile March ‘to stop the violence and end animal abuse’. If, for example, it wouldn’t be permissible for participants to abduct one of the Beagles along the March, hang her upside down by her hock, slit her throat, bleed her out, and then consume her flesh, then why is consumption permissible involving other victims?

It’s not food it’s violence. It’s not science it’s violence.

The event caterer is described (officially) as a “vegan caterer”. At other places, the business allegedly sells the flesh of fishes, shrimp, sharks, cows, piglets, pigs, chicks and chickens; and has historically advertised their “VEGAN and NON VEGAN fest”. What impression does this leave, and are not the victims of carniste caterers cherished as dearly as the beagles in New York?

Are breeders and vivisectors harming and exploiting our animal kin any more so than carniste-communities/society-at-large is harming, oppressing, violating and exploiting our animal kin?

VEGAN NATION seeks to advance the success of freedom for animals enslaved in laboratories, as well as advancing nonviolence, justice, joy & abundance for all sentient Beings.

Hear the replay of the Sept 22 Vegan Nation show at the link above (29 min and 8 sec).

Numerous animal advocacy events are organized by noble, well-meaning, ethical vegans, yet, continually (decade after decade) the imperative, important message of authentic Veganism (which is animal liberation / justice / nonviolence) is intentionally omitted from the general public view: websites, signage, “call to action”, speeches, press releases, and mainstream interviews.

Highly recommended viewing of this 20 minute video by Andy Schulgasser (Sept 15, 2026)

The collective consciousness of the masses can reflect back in various forms – for example, in the physical form of laboratory animal breeding facilities. Therefore, without holding the masses (“the 99%”) accountable, and without reaching a tipping point of authentic Veganism, the injustices & atrocities happening in our world will only continue, rooted at carniste universities, restaurants, businesses, hospitals, homes and institutions. Human/animal liberation, justice and freedom is not possible without the consistent (and unhidden/unmasked) advocacy & practice of Veganism. The vegan pet foods mentioned by Dr. Susan Craig are: V-Dog, Ami Cat, Wild Earth, Benevo, and Evolution. For further information about that (and other factors/items that she mentioned), one can contact: drsusancraig@icloud.com.

More Thoughts on Deep Veganism:

Atrocities aren’t just limited to injustice, violence & conflict. That which is clearly recognized by deep veganism is – all that carniste humanity does to our animal kin inevitably and eventually will be done to humans (“As we sow we will reap”). In vivisection and other carniste institutions (such as animal ag), the primary practice is AI – forced artificial insemination of females for the purpose of reproduction (and mammary secretion production/dairy) and further exploitation of the Beings whom those females birth. Thus, one can connect the dots that misogyny, historically and currently, could be understood as a possible type of karmic consequence of the global carniste community / society.

It is well-known that scientists have, for years, both in science laboratories & animal ag, been genetically modifying animals to be mass controlled and “dumbed down” ~ so as to be obedient, exhibit learned helplessness and be easily manipulated and deceived. With that knowledge, one can question whether the behaviors of the “lab Beagles” is simply due to being a “docile” breed, or does it possibly point to genetic manipulation. The vast population of humans could also possibly be genetically modified/manipulated, for example, via mass coerced injections, etc. It behooves us to critically study currently presented ‘animal experiment reduction proposals’ because sometimes included rhetoric could possibly be interpreted that it is intimately connected with mass compliance to the “settled science” (ex.; mandates for humans and our animal kin). Likewise, learned helplessness / submission is a characteristic common in equines due to equestrianism. What goes around comes around. Authentic Veganism is essential for freedom and peace on Earth.

Dr. Susan Craig, owner & operator of Happy Chihuahua Acres (veganic farm & animal sanctuary) joins us to share details of the 100% vegan diet for her 14 dogs, 4 cats, sheep, goats, miniature horses and ponies. She raises awareness of nonvegan ingredients in pelleted animal feed; and we also discuss carniste ingredients in ‘milk replacer formula’ for bovine “dairy” calves. PHOTOS

DISCUSSION: Urgency & relevance of going & staying vegan (noncompliance w/animal abuse), authentic Veganism (human/animal liberation), deep veganism (As we collectively sow, humanity eventually reaps), 100% vegan diet for dogs, cats, ferrets and others. Also discussing vegan restaurants, vegan music, carniste (nonvegan) scientific/biomed research, and the importance of health/medical freedom for humans and other animals. (Photo by Carl Lavender)
